Orange County Bathroom Contractor Rounding Up Raves

By Inspired Remodels / Bathroom Remodel / Comments Off

Inspired Remodels is an Orange County bathroom contractor that’s rounding up raves on Yelp and delighting social media with stunning pictures of bathroom remodels big and small. Here’s a round-up of what’s been happening in Orange County bathrooms thanks to Inspired Remodels.

Foothill Ranch Beauty

Take stunning black subway tile, install it with bright white grout, and you’ve got the setting for a stunning master suite bathroom.

For this Foothill Ranch bathroom remodeling project, the homeowners didn’t trust just any Orange County bathroom contractor. They hired Inspired Remodels to be the complete design and build team.

So, from their first visit to the showroom to meet with Joe until the last bit of construction debris was wiped away, they had a single point of contact and only ever dealt with one firm. The result? A bathroom remodel that reserves all the drama for the design.

The herringbone pattern adds architectural interest while gold hardware adds elegance.

Lake Forest Love on Yelp

The Lake Forest homeowner needed a complete ensuite makeover. From the closets through to the master bath, the area screamed for a makeover.

Inspired Remodels, the Orange County bathroom contractor that designed and completed the job updated the look of the entire area.

Before Inspired Remodels

Gone are the giant whirlpool tub and sliding closet doors. In their place, you’ll find stylish barn doors and a luxurious soaking tub. All the serenity of spa bathing, but in a new look.

After Inspired Remodels

No wonder the homeowner raved on Yelp. Michael L says

“Had a great experience with the whole Inspired Remodels team (joe, Jason, Bren, Florine, mark, Jose) for our master bedroom bathroom renovation. Would highly recommend them if you’re looking to do something similar. Quality work and materials. Great service. Responded well to texts and emails. Answered all my questions and I had a ton of them. Calmed my nerves in different times.“

That’s more than a bathroom contractor, that’s a bathroom contractor that cares.

Terrific Tilework on Facebook

There’s a certain bathroom remodel on Facebook that you should check out. It features amazing tilework and textures that turn a bathroom into a work of art.

Mosaic tiles in hues of blue and green create a stunning accent wall. At the same time, the whirling textured white wall tile in the shower evokes the feeling of waves, making for a very nautical feeling in this bathroom.

Orange County Bathroom Designers Create 6 Bathrooms to Love

Inspired Remodels, local Orange County bathroom designers, create beautiful and functional bathrooms. Lose yourself in the luxury and whimsy of these bathrooms.

Beautiful in Black and White

The contrast provided by black and white can be luxurious or modern. It just depends on how you approach it.

This black subway tile installed using a herringbone pattern and white grout offers high contrast in the shower. The contrast carries to the soaking tub and custom cabinets.

On the other hand, take the same palette and get an ultra-modern design.

White hexagon-shaped floor tiles contrast with the richness of the espresso cabinets. Lightly veined marble countertops and brushed nickel faucets with slim lines complete the modern aesthetic.

These bathroom designers aren’t afraid to go boldly where others fear. That’s what makes their designs so refreshing.

This Cota de Caza bathroom remodel pops from the black metal mirrors. Who says mirrors can’t be functional and fun? Not Inspired Remodels, that’s for sure.

Don’t be afraid to dabble in alchemy and mix your metals. You’ll strike design gold. The chrome faucets, black metal framed mirrors, and brushed chrome cabinet hardware work and play together quite well in this Orange County bathroom remodel.

Soaking the Stress Away

Remember those ginormous jetted garden tubs from the 1990s? Who could forget how much square footage they consumed?

These days, Orange County bathroom designers use a much more elegant solution for a good soak. And it’s a real space saver.

This sensual soaking tub tucks neatly away between the wall and the shower. The navy cabinets set an aquatic tone for this marvelous bathroom makeover.

This soaking tub provides more depth than you would ever get in those old garden-style tubs. Today, you enjoy more soaking in less space. When designing your spa bathroom, be sure to work with bathroom designers who understand the full impact of a deep soaking tub. Some tubs hold 90 to 100 gallons of water which requires more than a 50-gallon water heater to fill. Also, at 8 pounds per gallon of water, the floor must be able to carry the added weight.

This San Clemente bathroom remodel turns heads with the turn of the tub. Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box when it comes to thinking about soaking tubs.

3 Upgrades Your Bathroom Remodeler Should Include

By Inspired Remodels / Bathroom Remodel / Comments Off

Remodeling the bathroom is the perfect time to add those little touches that make a big difference day after day and year after year. A bathroom remodeler that’s up on the latest trends and technology can suggest things that you might not even occur to you. It’s the sign of a great remodeler! Here are 3 bathroom upgrade ideas from the Orange County’s premier bathroom remodeler, Inspired Remodels.

Recirculating Hot Water

How many times a day do you turn on the hot water at the shower, tub, or sink and watch gallons of cold water go down the drain while you wait for hot water to appear? Even if there isn’t a drought; that process wastes a lot of water.

But install a hot water recirculating system with your bathroom update or remodel and have hot water instantly! You will get hot water instantly to the new showers and sink, and you get the benefit of instant hot water at every hot water outlet in the house. This is one upgrade that saves water and save money. A hot water recirculating system can save up to 12,000 gallons of water in a home each year. Save up to 10% on your utility bill.

Some systems use a pump on your hot water supply to push water that has cooled to 98°F back into the tank to be warmed again. Others work on a pulse system of 150 seconds every 10 minutes to retain hot water at all faucets. The latest systems monitor your hot water usage for one week and then adjust your hot water output to match the days and hours it is needed most. Now if they could just get one smart enough to clean the shower!

Recirculating hot water systems can be installed on any type of plumbing and are sized based on the size of the supply and return lines. If your bathroom remodeler knows his plumbing, a hot water recirculating system is no sweat.

Personalized Shower Heads

Your shower head should reflect your personal preference in the shower. If you like long luxuriating 30 minute showers but feel guilty about the water you use, then talk to your bathroom remodeler about a low flow or water efficient shower head. These shower heads reduce the amount of water flowing through the head. So that 30 minute shower will use a fraction of the water. Low flow and water efficient shower heads aren’t for everyone however. Most use larger drops of water to simulate the feel of a higher pressure head.

If pressure is important to you, then ask the bathroom remodeler about a high pressure shower head. They are perfect if the water pressure in the bathroom is low or if you like the massaging feel of a shower. These work by either compressing the water through fewer holes or using a chamber to increase pressure.

An experienced bathroom remodeler knows that not all shower heads are created equal. If your contractor doesn’t talk to you about shower heads, you should be talking to another contractor.

Fog Free Mirrors

Speaking of showers, ever get out of that steamy shower only to be faced with a steamy mirror? Not the ideal situation if you need to dry your hair, shave, or apply make-up. You grab a towel to clear the fog and end up with a streaked mess.

Installing mirror defoggers at the time of the remodel is easy, is not expensive, and is one of those little touches that does make a big difference. Most models work by gently warming the glass in the mirror so that condensation does not form. It is the sample principle that your car’s defroster uses to keep your windshield and rear window clear. Mirror defoggers can even be wired into the light switches or exhaust fan switches to turn on without effort.
